Chaired by Don Spica, this group of 40 men, women, and teens greets and assists parishioners in seating at Mass, passes the baskets for the offertory, and coordinates orderly processions to receive Communion and exit the church. They keep an eye out for any medical or emergencies that may come up during Mass. Many ushers at St. Mary’s have received CPR and AED training as part of their ministry duties. Each Mass has an assigned captain and co-captain who coordinate any special activities among the ushers.
